This promotional activity is being conducted in conjunction with the overall Victoria Bitter NRL QLD Footy Tipping Competition, the Terms and Conditions and further details for which can be found at https://www.fanzo.com/en-au/terms-and-conditions.

Competition period
From 12.01am (AEDT) on 13/01/2025 until tips for Round 7 of the 2025 NRL season close via the FANZO app.
Who can enter?
Only Queensland residents who: (a) are aged 18 or over; and (b) sign up to participate/become a registered user of the FANZO app. Registration to the FANZO app (and, consequently, participation in this competition) is subject to the terms and conditions which apply to the FANZO app available at https://www.fanzo.com/en-au/terms-and-conditions as amended from time to time.
Where will the competition run?
The competition will run in participating liquor licensed venues which are displaying promotional material in Queensland (Venues).

Entry instructions
To enter, during the Competition Period: (a) download the FANZO app and register your details by providing all requested information, including selecting your favourite NRL team (if you have not done so already); (b) find the Victoria Bitter NRL QLD Footy Tipping 2025 Competition and join a Venue league by selecting your local participating QLD Venue (you may choose to join a maximum of two Venues for the entire Competition Period) then click the 'join league' button for that Venue; then (c) for Round 4, Round 5, Round 6 and Round 7, submit your tips in your local participating QLD Venue (consistent with the Venue league you have joined) via the FANZO app. For the sake of clarity, tips must only be submitted in accordance with the above instructions in order to enter the ‘Visit to Win’ prize draw. All other rules and instructions regarding the overall tipping competition are set out on the FANZO website and still apply.

The total prize pool is up to AUD$6,500.00
How many times can I enter?
Entrants can only participate in this activity on the one (1) device. Each entry/tip must be submitted separately in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. There is a limit of one FANZO account per device used. Entrants can join a maximum of two (2) x Venue leagues.
Visit To Win Prize Draws
Entrants who submit their tips when present at their nominated Venue League Venue for the abovementioned four (4) rounds will automatically be entered into a ‘Visit to Win’ prize draw:
The ‘Visit to Win’ Prize Draw will take place at the FANZO office - Level 4, 54 Wellington Street, Collingwood 3066 at 10:00am AEST on 21/04/25.
The first valid entry drawn will receive a Magic Round Prize Package valued at up to $6,500 depending on exact point of departure (details below).
Draw winner will be notified in writing and published at www.fanzo.com/en-au/terms-and-conditions within 1 day of the draw.
Prize must be claimed by 09:00am AEST on 24/04/25. In the event of an unclaimed prize, the prize will be redrawn on 24/04/25 (at the same time and location as the original draw):
Unclaimed prize draw winner will be notified in writing and published at www.fanzo.com/en-au/terms-and-conditions within 1 day of the draw.
The draw conductor may draw additional reserve entries in case an invalid entry or entrant is drawn.
If a draw is scheduled on the weekend or a public holiday, the draw will be conducted at the same time and location on the following business day. The Promoter will ensure each draw is open for public scrutiny and anyone may witness the draw on request. The winner of a drawn prize is determined by chance.
Prize Details
The prize is a Magic Round Prize Package which consists of the following: • return economy class flights for 2 people from the winner’s nearest capital city to Brisbane, Queensland (departing on 02/05/25 and returning on 05/05/25) (only provided if winner does not reside in Brisbane); • 3 nights' twin share accommodation at a 4 star hotel for 2 people; and • 2 tickets to 2025 NRL Magic Round Multi Day Pass at Brisbane, QLD from 02/05/25 to 04/05/25.
Prize Conditions
• Travel must be taken on 02/05/25 to coincide with Magic Round. If the winner is unavailable or unwilling to travel on the aforementioned date/s required by the Promoter to coincide with this event, they will forfeit their right to the prize and will not be awarded cash or any other alternative in lieu. • Travel itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. • Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. • The winner and his/her travel companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. • Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash. • The prize is subject to booking and flight availability. • Frequent flyer points will not be awarded and do not form part of the prize. • Spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs, unless otherwise specified in the prize description, are not included. • The winner may be required to present their credit card at check in. • This prize is for or relates to 2025 NRL Magic Round at Brisbane, QLD from 02/05/25 to 04/05/25 (the “Event”). If the winner is unwilling or unable to attend at the designated time for the Event, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize. • The Magic Round tickets are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restrictions. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner and/or his/her companion for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize. • All costs associated with travel to and from the Event will be the responsibility of the winner and their guest for the prize.
Collection and use of your personal information
If you are a winner, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation. You consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity (without any further payment or reward).
The Promoter may collect your personal information directly or through its agents or contractors. The Promoter will use your personal information to conduct and manage the competition. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to its related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this competition, communicating with you or storing data. This may include disclosures to organisations outside Australia including in places such as the Philippines, New Zealand, the UK and the Netherlands.
By entering, you consent to the Promoter keeping your personal information on its database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging.
The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (see www.asahi.com.au/privacy) includes information about:
(a) how to seek access to the personal information the Promoter holds about you and seek correction of the information; and
(b) how to complain about a privacy breach and how the Promoter will deal with such a complaint.
Entrants' personal information will be collected by FANZO Ltd (FANZO). Personal information will be stored on FANZO's database. FANZO is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and its privacy policy which is located at https://www.fanzo.com/en-au/privacy-policy. FANZO's privacy policy contains information about how the entrant may access, update and seek correction of the personal information FANZO holds about them and how the entrant may complain about any potential breach by FANZO of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other Australian privacy laws and how such complaints will be dealt with.
Further Terms
- The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule) and that entry into this Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
- Entries/tips are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the entrant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.
- Employees (and their immediate family members) of the Venues, agencies/companies directly associated with the conduct of this Competition, the Promoter, businesses involved in determination of winner/s in the Competition, businesses involved in the management of the Competition, any organisation benefiting from the Competition, the Promoter’s distributors, suppliers, subsidiary companies/businesses and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter. "Immediate family member" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
- All reasonable attempts will be made to contact each winner.
- If a winner chooses not to take their prize (or is unable to), or does not take or claim a prize within a reasonable time, as specified by the Promoter, or is unavailable, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.
- The Promoter supports the responsible service of alcohol and encourages consumers to enjoy alcohol responsibly. Entrants will be refused service of alcohol or provision of an alcohol beverage if it would breach any laws, codes or policies including those of the relevant liquor licensee relating to the responsible service of alcohol. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Guidelines to Reduce Health Risks from Drinking Alcohol. Please refer to the GL4001 'Liquor promotion guidelines' and GL4003 'Intoxication guidelines' at https://www.liquorandgaming.nsw.gov.au/. Entry and continued participation in this Competition is subject to the Venue's liquor serving policy.
- The value of the prize is accurate and based upon the recommended retail value of the prize (inclusive of GST) at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize after that date.
- No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other prize or transferable, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter.
- If a prize (or portion of a prize) is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that portion of the prize) to a prize of equal or greater value and specification.
- No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the Competition.
- The prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry and any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant or by a third party will be invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the physical or mental condition necessary to be able to safely participate in or accept the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, prior to receiving the prize.
- If a prize is provided to the Promoter by a third party, the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the third party prize supplier. The terms and conditions which apply to the prize at the time it is issued to the winner will prevail over these Conditions of Entry in the event of any inconsistency. To the extent permitted by law the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the prize, any delay or failure relating to the prize itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these Conditions of Entry or otherwise.
- Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Conditions of Entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
- If for any reason any aspect of this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of entries/tips and entrant's details (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible entries, as applicable, will at the Promoter's discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to win. Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Competition or claiming a prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the entrant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final.
- The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this Competition or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation). For the sake of clarity, this clause shall not apply where the Promoter has contributed to or caused such loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death and shall not apply to any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in each case the Promoter’s liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
- The winner will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Competition, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the entrant must seek their own independent financial advice in regards to the tax implications relating to the prize or acceptance of the prize.
- Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
