There are tonnes of great sports bars in King’s Lynn and there are also tonnes of great sportspeople who come from the town. Interestingly, this is a place that has produced more than its fair share of elite rugby players. Scotland’s Ali Price and Wales’ George North were both born here, but unfortunately for England chose not to represent their birth country. England’s loss is most certainly our neighbours’ gain but you can’t begrudge the players their decision. You’d imagine they both thought long and hard about the decision, probably (we hope) over a few pints in one of those quality sports bars.
