What Are We Doing?

  • Running digital prize draws and quizzes in more than 1000 venues across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland during September and October 2023.
  • Fans can play at any participating venue to find out if they have won one of thousands of prizes, including free pints of Guinness and official merchandise such as jackets, gilets and shirts.

How Are We Doing It?

  • The Guinness Game is a simple check-in activation. Fans can head to any participating pub and check in to enter a digital prize draw.
  • Regular quizzes on the FANZO app will test sports fans knowledge. Beating the quiz unlocks a free pint to be claimed at any participating venue.

Why Is This Exciting?

  • In terms of scale, this represents significant growth (160%) vs our previous record for an on-trade activation in ROI and NI
  • A great example of a brand maximising their historic association with rugby outside of events where they have official sponsorship rights.
  • For venues in Ireland, we're proud to be supporting them with tens of thousands of incremental visits during a major sports tournament that is relatively drawn out in length, with lots of downtime between significant games.
