FANZO Launches In New Zealand As Company’s Global Expansion Continues To Grow
UK-founded company extends its service for sports fans and out-of-home venues across the Tasman Sea after the successful launch of FANZO Australia in 2020.
London, 23rd October 2024: FANZO, the world’s leading platform for watching live sport in pubs, bars and fan zones, has expanded into New Zealand as it continues to grow its international footprint.
Sports fans in the country can now use FANZO’s app and website to find the best local venues that will definitely be showing their game on TV.
Pubs, bars and restaurants can also take advantage of their market-leading B2B SAAS product that promises to save venues hours each week organising live sport whilst driving customers through the door to watch the games they’re showing.
“FANZO exists to bring people together to share incredible sporting memories in the best local venues. As a result, it’s hugely exciting to be launching FANZO in a country as passionate about sport as New Zealand”, said Jono Richards, Managing Director of FANZO Australia and New Zealand.
“From the White Ferns’ World Cup triumph to the ongoing excitement of the America’s Cup, you only have to open a newspaper this week to be reminded of just how ingrained sporting excellence and exceptional hospitality are in New Zealand’s culture.”
The platform will be launched in partnership with New Zealand Venue Co., sister company to Australian Venue Company who already work with FANZO in more than 150 of their sites across the Tasman.
“There’s no doubt this is great news for sports fans and operators in New Zealand”, said Dan Hope, Group Sports Marketing manager for Australia Venue Co. and New Zealand Venue Co.
FANZO’s unique benefits for venues have definitely helped us deliver on our vision for creating local sporting institutions through consistently delivering exceptional in-venue experiences for live games and we’re delighted to be extending that partnership into new territory.”
